Lester B. Pearson Scholarships Description

The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships at the University of Toronto are awarded to international students with undergraduate degrees who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance and leadership potential so that they can bring positive changes using their knowledge within their country as well as around the world.

This scholarship program provides tuition, incidental fees, books, and full residence support for four years.

You may enroll for multiple courses at a time but your first choice will be considered for the scholarship so be careful while applying and filling out the application form.

Each Year around 37 students are selected for the scholarship and you can be one of 37 students in your batch.

Eligibility For The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships

The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships are awarded to international students who are citizens of a country other than Canada and are enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at the University of Toronto.

Here are the basic eligibility for the scholarship and I am sure that you can easily meet the criteria-

• Only for International Students ( Need Study Permit ) 
• Currently in your Final year of secondary education or already graduated not earlier than 2022.
• Beginning studies in September 2023 at The University of Toronto 
• Students who are already an Undergraduate are not eligible
• If you are starting your Undergraduate degree in January 2023 you are not eligible.

Application Process

The scholarship process is a three-step process. 

1. First, you must be nominated by your school for the scholarship. ( If your school didn’t already contact the University of Toronto, then they need to first submit an application form to participate in the scholarship program by filling out the form.
2. Once you are nominated by your school then you have to apply for an undergraduate program at the University of Toronto, remember you can choose multiple programs but only the first choice will be considered for the scholarship.
3. After nomination and applying to the University of Toronto now, you can apply for the Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application online from the website.

Important Dates  

• School nomination deadline: November 30, 2022
• Student OUAC application deadline: December 14, 2022 ( Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC) is a partner of the University of Toronto to provide Application services)
• Student scholarship application deadline: January 16, 2023
